Airheads Balloon Art owner, David Weiss, CBA, competed in an international balloon competition, FLOAT, in November 2009.

Dave took home First Place with his music themed entryway design.

Dave took Second Place with his larger than life breakdancing large-sculpture piece, and also won the vote of his peers with the Delegates Choice award for Large Sculpture.

This is the B-boy (breakdancer)...he rotated, had life-like eyes and hair and was accessoried with chain, clock, wrist and arm bands.
The eleven foot tall street lamp actually lit up!
The giant boom box radio played over 20 different era appropriate rap songs. The music was triggered when peopled walked on the sidewalk
People were invited to interact with the piece by "tagging" their name or message on the brick balloon wall..
