Airheads Balloon Art is a professional balloon décor and entertainment company based in the Greater Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, specializing in custom event décor, large-scale installations, and balloon delivery for corporate events, schools, and private celebrations.

Founded in 1999 by David and Leigh-Anne Weiss and a fellow balloon artist, Airheads Balloon Art was built on a passion for creativity and performance. At the time, Dave already had over 10 years of experience in balloon sculpture and was the former owner of A&D Party Performers, a costumed entertainment company. In 2002, after their partner chose to pursue another career, Dave and Leigh-Anne expanded the company by acquiring Balloons Over Pittsburgh—one of the region’s first and oldest balloon companies—accelerating their growth and reach.

Committed to excellence, Dave is a Certified Balloon Artist (CBA), the highest professional certification in the balloon industry. He has served as President of the Western PA Qualatex Balloon Network and is an award-winning designer with multiple honors in international competition. As a charter member of BalloonPlanet.com, Airheads Balloon Art is also part of a global network of balloon professionals, allowing us to support clients both locally and beyond the Pittsburgh region.

Over the years, Airheads Balloon Art has created décor for a wide range of events and venues, from corporate activations and school celebrations to large-scale public events. Our team is experienced in working in complex environments such as arenas, convention centers, and high-traffic venues, bringing professionalism, reliability, and creativity to every project.
